The story behind the story
Meet Brin & Melly.
Brin and Melly began as a chainsaw carving of a grizzly bear and an owl while Aaron was living and working in China. Brin was strong but lonely. Melly was small, curious, and always ready to talk.
Their unlikely friendship became a children's book about kindness, courage, and finding connection across our differences. The Brin and Melly children's book series became an Amazon bestseller. Melly was named in honor of Aaron's granddaughter, Melody.

Hi, I'm Aaron.
I'm an educator, author, and chainsaw carver and sculptor from Spokane, Washington.
I'm grateful to have carved in China, Thailand, and across the Pacific Northwest. My mission is simple: provide affordable, high quality carving and sculpting that exceeds expectations, and help more people discover what they can create.
